Accessibility statement
Accessibility of the online booking system of Romantic Relais Sorrento.
Commitment
The property is committed to making its online booking system usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, in line with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), implemented in Italy by Legislative Decree 82/2022, and the EN 301 549 standard (WCAG 2.1, level AA).
Compliance status
The system is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA, for the reasons listed below.
Content that is not yet accessible
• The payment pages of Stripe, Nexi and PayPal are run by these providers and are outside our control.
• Photos use the name of the room as their text alternative, without a detailed description of the image.
• Some texts (terms, room and rate descriptions) in German and French are only available in English.
• The map on the confirmation page is a Google service: the address is also written out in full, with a link.
What we have done
Full keyboard navigation, including the calendar (arrow keys, Enter, Esc); a “Skip to content” link; always-visible focus; labels and error messages that screen readers can read; dialogs that keep and return focus; checked text contrast; support for the “reduce motion” setting; pages usable with enlarged text; four languages.
How this statement was prepared
Self-assessment on 05/10/2026: automated testing with axe-core 4.10 (WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 rules, levels A and AA) on the search, guest details and confirmation pages, and a manual code review of keyboard use, focus and dialogs. Last reviewed: 05/10/2026.
